Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
David A. Steinberg is the co-founder, Chairman & CEO of Zeta Global. He founded the company with his business partner, John Sculley, former CEO of Apple Inc and Pepsi-Cola in 2007 to capitalize on emerging developments in Big Data and analytics. Named one of the 50 Most Promising Private Companies in America in 2014 by Forbes, Zeta is recognized as a market leader in data, analytics and marketing technology.
Prior to founding Zeta, Mr. Steinberg founded InPhonic, the largest seller of wireless phones and communications products and services on the Internet, with annual revenue in excess of $400 million. InPhonic was #1 on Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies in 2004, the year it went public on the NASDAQ. Mr. Steinberg also founded and served as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Cellular, a B2B and retail wireless communications provider, and Sterling Communications, a communications telemarketing company.
Mr. Steinberg was named the Greater Washington Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for communications in 2002. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Faster Cures of the Milken Institute, the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, SwitchPitch and several start-ups. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Washington & Jefferson College and previously served on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Steinberg holds a B.S. from Washington & Jefferson College.
Mr. Cullen Jowitt served as Executive Vice President of the Acquisition Platform for Zeta Global. Mr. Jowitt previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Zeta Global's Silicon Valley office where he had overall responsibility for engineering, data science & analytics, operations, and user experience. Prior to joining Zeta, Mr. Jowitt served as General Manager of Adchemy Actions, a business unit of Adchemy, Inc. Mr. Jowitt previously served in progressively senior operating roles at leading internet companies including NexTag and Excite@Home. He graduated with a BA in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley, and received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
